I'm Raz! I'm a Midlands/ London based student with an interest in fashion, sewing and art. I've been sewing/ designing costumes and outfits since 2019 when I was 12, around the time when I first started getting into anime and comics. One of my biggest long - lasting passions has been cosplay, and I have taken my small hobby to a lifelong passion that really brings me so much joy. Despite all the setbacks of limited disposable income to spend on my work and growing up in a creativity-suppressed educational environment for most of my youth, I have been determined to pioneer my own image as a designer and seamstress. And even in the face of severe arts de-funding and inequality of opportunity for working class creatives such as myself, I have kept forking out huge proportions of my wages and time to work on showcasing my passion and skills despite every blockade us creators face in the UK.The feeling of being able to bring any character I want to life is a skill in progress I’m immensely proud of teaching myself, and I’m hoping to escalate my passion into a career in wardrobe/design through university and real world experience in the near future.
